If you have a pet at home you surely know that they tend to nibble on the leaves of plants, especially when they are puppies. We tell you which plants coexist perfectly with your pet and which ones can be harmful to their health.
1. ARECA
Create a safe environment for your pet by decorating a corner of the living room with areca. This tropical plant needs to be in a place with lots of light and that its soil is always humid. It will thank you for beautifying corner.
2. FERN
Perfect for hanging prefers indirect light. You have to water it frequently but with little water. Its ideal temperature is 18ºC. Fern is a very decorative plant that we love and that will not cause any damage to your pet.
3. PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES

This grateful hanging plant can coexist perfectly with any pet since it will not cause any kind of discomfort if you nibble or ingest it. The tape needs light, but without exposing it to direct sunlight and its watering should be more moderate in winter (1 time a week) than in summer (2 or 3 times).
8. ROSARY OF HEARTS
Its scientific name is ceropegia wood. This vine with heart-shaped leaves coexists perfectly with cats and dogs. Perfect for caring for even the most forgetful (it is almost immortal), this plant is very versatile since it does not require many waterings and it loves semi-shaded environments enjoying indirect light.
9. ORCHID
Delicate and elegant in appearance, the orchid is 100% safe for pets. Find a place that receives a lot of light or that flourishes up to several times a year! Of course, be careful and ensure that the sun does not directly hit its leaves. And is that decorating a corner with an orchid is always a good option.
10. TRICOLOR MARANTA
Also known as a prayer plant, the maraschino leuconeura (this is its scientific name) has leaves with unique patterns. If you like this easy-care indoor plant and you have a pet, you can decorate any corner of the house without having to worry about the health of your pet.
